What data we collect

Spliq collects the minimum data needed to function:

• Telegram profile info — your Telegram user ID, first name, last name, and username. This is provided by Telegram when you open the app or interact with the bot.
• Group info — the Telegram chat ID and title of groups the bot is added to.
• Expense data — descriptions, amounts, currencies, splits, and settlements you create within the app.

How we use your data

Your data is used solely to provide the expense-tracking service: recording expenses, calculating balances, and displaying history. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.

Data storage

Data is stored in a managed Postgres database (Supabase). Only the bot operator has access to the raw data.

Data retention

Your data is kept for as long as you use the service. If you want your data deleted, contact the bot operator.

Third parties

Spliq communicates only with the Telegram Bot API to send and receive messages. No other third-party services receive your data.

Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page.
